This thesis presents in detail the corporate identity design of a company and the reasons why it is necessary for the companies to present themself in a visual way and how corporate identity is becoming inseparable from the company’s business strategy. Creating and designing a stable well-known and easily identifiable corporate image is from enormous importance for any business. Then the important elements of corporate identity design will be described and also the guidelines that need to be considered while designing corporate identity, consistency in the first place, will be included. It will be presented how to avoid the negative effects and poor corporate image.
In the first practical part I will present my own designed corporate image, which includes the production of a logo, website, business card and envelope. The used procedures and software will be described in more details.
The second practical part consists of an analysis of my own designed logotype and implementation of the guidelines, which were given in the third chapter. I will analyze the used symbol, colors and typography and try to determine whether the theoretical guidelines really apply and are taken into consideration in practice. Comparison of different logo sizes wil be presented too.
