In this thesis, a lime-cement plaster containing the phase change material PCM 22 was developed and compared with a reference plaster without PCM. The properties of fresh and hardened plaster mixtures, their microstructure, mechanical properties and thermal behaviour were investigated. The addition of PCM reduced the bulk density and density of the plaster and increased its flow value, while the flexural and compressive strengths decreased. Microscopic analysis showed a less compact structure of the PCM-containing specimen. Specific heat capacity measurements revealed a pronounced phase transition between approximately 22 and 24 °C. At 23 °C, the apparent specific heat capacity of the PCM-containing plaster was 165.4 % higher than that of the reference plaster. The results confirm that PCM retains its heat-storage ability after being incorporated into the plaster. However, further development is required to achieve an appropriate balance between thermal functionality and mechanical resistance.
