Although speakers of Slovenian as a FL/L2 are expected to know Slovenian orthographic rules to some extent, these are mostly presented indirectly to them or only at higher levels of language learning. This article analyzes three categories of orthographic errors in the KOST corpus. The most common of these are spelling errors, followed by inappropriate capitalization of words and inappropriately joined or divided words.
