This master's thesis focuses on analyzing websites that provide audio pronunciation of words, phrases and even sentence structures. The study focuses on three specific portals – Forvo, Govorni Pomočnik and Sloleks – each differing in corpus size, editorial approach and intended purpose. The aim of the present work is to illustrate the presence of Slovenian language on various audio pronunciation portals, to review the representation of different word types within their databases, to correct written and spoken entries on Forvo and to develop an editing model tailored to predominantly foreign users. The analytical section of the thesis includes a contextual introduction that offers a broader perspective on communication and a brief overview of the development of online language tools. The core of the thesis presents a detailed analysis of the results, presented in tables and diagrams. In the case of Forvo, particular attention is given to discussing the shortcomings of certain entries, both in written and auditory format. To better understand how these portals operate, interviews were conducted with their editors. The work concludes with a final overview that presents a comparative analysis of the portals across various categories.
