The thesis presents a phonetic analysis of authentic private conversation in Prekmurje dialect on the digital platform Facebook Messenger from 2016. In converstion participated four female informants, aged between 14 and 15, with different linguistic backgrounds and experiences of writing in Prekmurje dialect. They mainly wrote diphthongs ej, ij and ou (rejsan, prijden, mouti), but üu and uu are written with the letter u (zgucate, druge). The final -i/- is written with graphemes i (na postaji, viditi) and e (pri babice, ite). On the other hand ü and ö are not written (vutro, vra), nor is there any distinction between the voices a/á and e/é (pa, te). The overtone o > e is generally written (preprostoga). The final -l is written as u by only two informants (žau, biu). The final -m is written as -n (prijden, tan) and the final v as -v (keksov) or -f (naslof). The grapheme h is rarely written, mainly in words taken from literary Slovene (hecan se), but otherwise j (smej) and š (nišče) are also used (at the end or in the middle of a sentence), or at the beginning of a word the sound is eliminated, and there is no grapheme (lače). The v before unvoiced voiceless vowels is written as a v (vsak) or as an f (fse), between vowel dn > gn occurs most frequently (gnjes), kt > št is rare (šteri). D is eliminated in the words zdaj (zaj) and tudi (tüj). The nasal ĺ and ń are stiffened in certain words (vola, knižnica).
