Izvleček
V okviru magistrske naloge sem želel izvesti celovit pristop k razvoju potencialne protirakave učinkovine, ki vključuje sintezo organskega liganda, tvorbo njegovega kovinskega kompleksa, pripravo primernega nanonosilca in njuno medsebojno vezavo. Glavni cilj je bil ustvariti in ovrednotiti sistem, ki združuje kemijske, biološke in nanotehnološke pristope za učinkovito dostavo zdravil do rakave celice. Pripravil sem kislinske in estrske derivate piritionskega liganda ter z njimi tvoril rutenijeve(II) komplekse. Te sem nato vezal na silicijeve mezoporozne nanodelce, MCM-41 in SBA-15, ki sem jih pripravil po modificiranem sol-gel postopku. Končni produkt sem okarakteriziral in pripravil za načrtovane biološke teste njihove protirakave aktivnosti.

Naslov:Attempt of binding pyrithione derivatives and their metal complexes onto selected nanocarriers

The aim of my Master's thesis was to develop a comprehensive approach for the development of a potential anticancer active substance. This process includes the synthesis of an organic ligand, the formation of its metal complex, the preparation of a suitable nanocarrier and their mutual binding. The main objective was to develop and evaluate a system that combines chemical, biological and nanotechnological approaches for effective drug delivery to cancer cells. In this work, acid and ester derivatives of the pyrithione ligand were prepared. These compounds were then used as ligands in the synthesis of ruthenium(II) coordination compounds. Additionally, the prepared complexes were bound to mesoporous silica nanoparticles, MCM-41 and SBA-15, which were synthesized using a modified sol-gel process. The final product was characterized and prepared for potential biological testing of their anticancer activity.
