The main objective of this diploma paper was editing and preparing a critical edition of The Versified Offices of Saint Nazarius: the older and the newer version, both located at the Glasbeno Rokopisni Fond Koprske Stolnice (Music and Manuscript Collection of the Diocesan Archives in Koper) in an antiphonarysine signatura. Saint Nazarius was a locally know saint mainly in the region of Koper - Capodistria. We have little proof on his life. One of the few things we can state with certainty is the fact that his relics were returned to Koper - Capodistria in 1422. The paleographic analysis has dated the older version of the Office to the latter half of 15th or to the beginning of the 16th century and the more recent version to the 16th or as late as the 17th century. The textual analysis has shown that the composer of the more recent version was aware of the older one. The musical analysis, however, was not able to state the same.
