In cooperation with the urbarial communities of Pince, Dolina, Čentiba and the forest management plans we presented the conditions and the details of their functioning. We have demonstrated the differences between the procedures of firewood distribution by using the results of comparisons of valuation of standing wood based on three methods. Method 1 determines the volume of trees on the basis of adapted Schaeffer volume tariffs, method 2 is based on ocular assessment and experience, method 3 determines volume based on past ratings assigned to diameters. The most effective method of forest management is the method 1 used in the urbarial community Pince with a mean deviation between the corresponding and the resulting amount of wood per participle 0.59 m3, followed by method 3 used in the urbarial community Čentiba with tolerance of 0.63 m3 per participle and method 2 used in the urbarial community Dolina with tolerance of 0.64 m3 per participle. We have strengthened the advantage of joint management by comparing the realissation of annual allowed cut between a forest of private ownership in Kobilje and the forest of the urbarial community Čentiba. We have also introduced social importance of the urbarial communities in the mentioned areas.
