The content of the thesis applies to the process of enrolling children in kindergarten. The entire procedure of enrolling the child in the kindergarten in described in the beginning of the thesis, where is also described main characteristics of the system of preschool education as one of the areas of education and administrative matters. Next, there are legislative and regulatory legal basis, on which kindergarten and parents are referring to in the entire process of enrollment, most important are Kindergarten Act, Decree for Child acception and submissive use of Law on General Administrative Procedure. In the central part of the thesis is a description of enrollment of children step by step from the open tender and submission to session of the Commission and sign contracts between kindergarten and parents on newly accepted children. A thesis is aimed at people in kindergartens, which are faced with the procedure as well as parents because in the last part we analyzed all complaints lodged by parents to the Council of the Institute Kindergarten Miškolin in 2016.
