The thesis presents the business information system SAP, its history and a brief description of the modules of which it is composed. The main theme of this thesis is the methodology of implementation and integration of SAP with other systems. The methodology contains specific steps necessary in carrying out the implementation. Every step or phase provides instructions and recommendations how to get to the desired result, so that both client and provider are satisfied with the final product. Integration with other systems is necessary in each implementation so we described few common cases or methods of technical integration. The last part of thesis is dedicated to an important part of the implementation and that is communication between participants. This part also includes the documentation, meetings and workshops, which are informing about the progress of the project implementation.
