In the thesis the diversity of understanding a space of a picture has been studied.
The introductory part defines physical and spiritual aspects of a picture space. Second, the theoretical section provides the outline of a variety of picture space perception and its development through the history, from prehistory to the directions of 20th-century art. Within the practical work, the way how to create the illusion of a depth in a two-dimensional space has been studied through the process of its own creation. Painting on canvas has been upgraded with the interpretations of using a modern media technology. Through the space of a picture, own experience of living has been expressed. The empirical pedagogical work describes the workflow and the specific features of the art workshops that have been organized for this purpose. Investigation was focused on the presentation of artistic-creative possibilities offered by a specific type of workshops. Special attention was given to a boy with attention deficit disorder. Moreover, to his socialization within the studied group and at the same time to a talented boy at the same age. The study was rounded off with a comparative analysis of their work.
