Abstract
V diplomskem delu ugotavljamo, kako lahko nadomestna komunikacija s pomočjo posebej izdelanih fotografij/prilagojenim didaktičnim materialom olajša sporazumevanje otroka z zmernimi motnjami v duševnem razvoju z okolico in vpliva na zmanjšanje neželenega vedenja. Izdelali smo prilagojen didaktični material, namenjen osebi z Downovim sindromom, z zmernimi motnjami v duševnem razvoju. Podatke smo zbirali s pomočjo opazovanja, individualno izdelanih didaktičnih pripomočkov, individualnih srečanj, analiz individualnih srečanj, analize dokumentacije, končne evalvacije. Trajanje individualnih srečanj je potekalo 3 leta s prekinitvami. Ugotovili smo, da lahko nadomestna komunikacija s pomočjo posebej izdelanih fotografij/prilagojenim didaktičnim materialom olajša sporazumevanje otroka z zmernimi motnjami v duševnem razvoju z okolico in vpliva na zmanjšanje neželenega vedenja. Dosegli smo, da so izdelane fotografije/prilagojen didaktični material, ki je bil v celoti izdelan za individualne potrebe deklice z Downovim sindromom, pripomogel k uresničitvi zadanih ciljev in pridobili odgovore na zastavljena raziskovalna vprašanja.

Title:Influence of substitute communication on behaviour (case study)
Abstract:
In this dissertation we found out, how can the substitute communication with help of especially made photographs/adjusted didactic material, help a child with moderate disorders in mental developing to communicating with surroundings, and has the influence on reduction of unwanted behavior. We developed an adjusted didactic material intended for person with Down's syndrome with moderate disorders in mental developing. We were collecting the data with help of observation of individually made didactic gadgets, individual meetings, analysis of individual meetings, analysis of documentation and final evaluation. With some interruptions, the individual meetings lasted for three years. We found out, that substitute communication, with help of especially made photographs/adjusted didactic material, can help a child with moderate disorders in mental developing to communicate with surroundings, and has the influence on reduction of unwonted behavior. We have achieved that especially made photographs/adjusted didactic material, that was completely made for individual needs of the girl with Down's syndrome, contributed to the realization of our set goals. We also gained answers to our research questions.
