About RUL

The Repository of the University of Ljubljana (RUL) is an institutional repository that provides storage and public access to digital objects resulting from the educational and research activities of the University of Ljubljana (UL). These include final works of studies, publications by UL employees, articles, monographs, textbooks published by UL faculties and academies, research data, and other research results. The similarity of content is checked for each final work of studies before it is stored in RUL.

RUL is connected to the student information systems of UL faculties and academies, the Open Science Slovenia portal, COBISS.SI, SICRIS, and the Vega supercomputer. It is also included in various directories, aggregators, and search engines (e.g., OpenDOAR, ROAR, OpenAIRE EXPLORE, BASE, CORE).

RUL’s compatibility with the OpenAIRE Guidelines enables the European Commission to monitor compliance with open access provisions for publications and research data from Horizon Europe projects.
