The diploma thesis describes the development of central diagnostics for the track section of ETCS. The first part describes the ETCS and GSM-R systems, which are being installed at Slovenske železnice. This is followed by a description of the architecture of signalling and safety devices, which are present in connection with ETCS. The thesis contains analyses of the frequency of errors and messages at various stations. It presents the types of messages and an analysis of connections.
The practical part describes the design of the electronic unit and an error simulation on LEU. It concludes with a display of a diagnostic image.
