The purpose of my thesis is to present the conceptual design of biologically active lighting of a classroom. Conceptual design is intended to be used at biologically active lighting planning in educational establishments.
The introductory part focuses on theoretical fundamentals of light and photometric quantities. Next, we present the basic functions of the eye and human vision and the effect of light on human being.
The second part of the thesis presents the basis of indoor lighting planning, biological effects of light on people and lighting of educational establishments. We proposed the preliminary design of biologically active lighting of a classroom, which covers the illumination level control and colours of artificial light.
