This thesis address high frequency induction heating, which uses vacuum tube - triode as base for its operation. When manufacturing real devices for this kind of operation, we encounter problems with incorrect operation at initial commissioning.
Solution for verification of its design, before it is actually fully assembled is simulation of key component in this device - oscillator. In thesis we try to achieve this with SPICE simulation. For simulation it is necessary to include good elements models of oscillator, especially vacuum triode model.
Verification of simulated oscillator is made by comparing it with equivalent real device, from which we can obtain conclusions.
Content of thesis is designed in a way that in second chapter we acquaint ourselves with general induction heating properties and applications in industries. In third chapter we focus only on area of high frequency induction heating with its characteristics. Fourth chapter breaks down main components of device for high frequency induction heating. Here we look into properties of the device key building blocks. Simulation is done in fifth chapter and includes SPICE model for vacuum triode used in this device and measurement of missing components parameters for modeling in SPICE. In chapter six are measurements of real device and in last two chapters results with conclusions.
