Diploma presents the cooperation of local societies with Sostro Primary School. In the theoretical part I presented the town Sostro, its cultural and natural sights and I also presented a brief history of Sostro Primary School, which dates back in year 1869. The school has been a solid foundation to its town throughout history and has been in constant contact with its inhabitants. They have supplemented to its rich work. I presented all societies that have in any way enriched the learning environment of Sostro Primary School: societies which were active in the past, Catholic Educational Society and Cultural Society Zadvor, and societies which are presently still active, Sports Society Zadvor, Fruit Growing - Horticultural Society Janez Evangelist Krek, Beekeepers Society Moste Polje, Tourism Society Zadvor and Pensioners Society Sostro.
In the research part there is a presentation of cooperation, based on the analysis of the documents from the school chronicle, the Parish Chronicle of the Church of St. Lenart and the documents kept by the societies. There is also an evaluation of how the cooperation contributed to the achievement of learning goals. A few photographs are added to each analysis.
