Landscape asa category of the land can be defined by the land classification. Natural regions, as well as landscape itself, pedosequences, associations of soil, soil units, categories of land use are the chierarchical taxonomic range of land classification. Each term defined some land segment that in different combination represents a particular landscape. The whole system proved to be usefull far land planning of smaller area from ecological, pedoecological as well as from agricultural point of view. It is also evident that geolithological systems with specified soil associations create the most important natural boundaries between landscape systemy in smaller area.
