The exhibition in its scope of themes and problems puts forth four
Slovenian authors: Ivo Mršnik, Zdenko Huzjan, Jožef Muhovič and
Črtomir Frelih, who belong to consecutive generations of artists
coming from the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition
is conceived as a presentation of two subsequent generations:
Mršnik – Huzjan, at their beginnings proceeding from the drawing
of Gabriel Stupica; and Muhovič – Frelih owing their outset
to Bogdan Borčič. In the works of all four, the expressiveness of a
figure comprises of a subtle congenial discretion.
