The diploma thesis deals with Viviani's curve. It comprises several interesting calculations of mathematical quantities, which can be connected with the curve mentioned above. The purpose of the thesis is to examine Viviani's curve and its properties, such as: the length, the curvature, the area of the sphere figure bounded by the curve, and the volume of the solid below the area.
Additionally we have set the stereographic projection of Viviani's curve, which is a well-known third order algebraic curve, and we have done some calculations. In conclusion we have completed the thesis with two different geometrical constructions.
