The final seminar paper discusses the former filial Church of the Holy Spirit in Celje from the perspective of its historical and artistic development. The church represented an important sacral building, whose art-historical and heritage value can only be adequately assessed through a reconstruction of its condition prior to demolition. For the reconstruction, the preserved pictorial and sculptural elements of the furnishings, especially the altars, are therefore particularly important, which is why a large part of the paper is devoted to them. Research of the furnishings is particularly difficult, primarily due to the lack of reliable archival data and older photographic material. The paper also highlights the issue of inadequate and belated conservation intervention, which led to the demolition of the church.
