The aim of the diploma thesis was to redesign the VisArt d.o.o. website to improve its visual appearance, user experience, service presentation, and effectiveness in generating inquiries. The previous website was outdated, contained limited content, and no longer represented VisArt appropriately.
In the experimental part, an analysis of the client, the existing website, the target audience, user personas, competitors, and examples of good practice was first conducted. Based on these findings, the website content and information architecture were developed. Low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes were created in Figma. The visual design was based on the updated company identity, space-inspired motifs, selected typography, and graphic elements for individual services. The website was built on WordPress using plugins for content management, forms, animations, and performance optimization. Finally, a user experience evaluation was performed.
The result of the work was a modern, responsive, and content-expanded website that included information about the company, services, references, news, and team, as well as a contact form. The user experience evaluation showed that users completed most tasks quickly and without major difficulties. The average score on the standardized usability questionnaire was 91.8 out of 100, indicating a very high perceived usability of the website.
It was found that, compared with the older, non-redesigned website, the redesigned website had improved clarity, usability, and informativeness. Minor possibilities for improvement were identified mainly in the additional highlighting of references and the adjustment of microanimations.
