The carriers used in this thesis were produced using a 3D printer with Fun To Do Nano Clear photopolymer resin. The resin enables high printing accuracy, the printed objects shrink very little and have good mechanical strength, which is crucial for use in an aquatic environment. The experimental part will be conducted in two phases. In the first part of the experiment, we will prepare leachates from the carriers in demineralized water and
determine whether any substances have leached out of the carriers, while monitoring the concentration of total organic carbon (TOC) and changes in the pH of the leachates as a function of exposure time. In the second set of experiments, we will conduct
toxicity tests using duckweed (Lemna minor), in which we will determine the effect of leachates on growth and any morphological changes. The goal is to determine whether and to what extent leaching occurs from the substrates and whether the released substances are potentially harmful to aquatic organisms.
