This master’s thesis presents the creation of a 3D map of the local water supply network in Šmartno v Tuhinju. The emphasis is on the digitization of old survey maps of the water supply route, which serve as the primary source for creating the maps. A field survey was conducted, during which all identifiable features from the plans were recorded in the field using a Leica GS18T receiver. Additionally, to ensure the correct placement of the water supply network relative to the actual terrain, the distance of the water supply network from the corners of buildings was measured using a measuring tape. The entire plan preparation was carried out in Autodesk Civil 3D software using the King.Prostor plugin. The final result is a 3D route of the entire water supply network, displayed in both horizontal and vertical views. The height of the water main was determined based on the terrain and the planned pipe depth of 1.3 m below the surface. The plans include all known structures that make up the water supply network and can be used for further modeling of flows and pressures. In addition to the main views, detailed plans are included to provide a more thorough representation of individual sections of the water supply route.
