The master's thesis focuses on the expectations of transport and logistics students regarding future employment in the logistics sector. The aim of the thesis is to examine personnel employment in the logistics and to assess whether students are adequately prepared for employment in the sector after graduation. The first part of the thesis presents personnel employment within the logistics sector, the process of developing job classifications, and the most common occupations in road, rail, air, and maritime transport. The thesis will continue by examining student satisfaction in higher education, discussing potential curriculum improvements, analysing differences in career expectations across generations, and analysing other factors that shape students’ expectations regarding future employment. This will be followed by an analysis of the results of a questionnaire conducted among students of transport and logistics regarding employment in the logistics industry. This will be followed by an analysis of the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among transport and logistics students regarding employment opportunities in the logistics sector. Based on the findings, the proposed hypotheses will be evaluated, and the results will be compared with those of existing studies on employment in the logistics sector.
