In this thesis, I designed a mobile market stall. I explored the challenges of existing mobile selling units, with the main goal of improving current solutions in a way that better serves the vendor while attracting new customers.
The final design was developed by taking into account existing regulations related to market stalls and street selling. The result of this thesis is a mobile selling unit that adapts to the vendor and highlights their products, making them more visually appealing to consumers.
The research part of the thesis outlines the regulations that had to be considered, as well as the needs and expectations of both vendors and consumers. To gain a deeper understanding, I conducted interviews and a survey with both groups.
The second part of the thesis describes the design process leading to the final solution. This process included various design methods such as sketching, rapid prototyping, and 3D modeling. I also consulted with a carpenter, which provided valuable insights that produced several construction details of the final design.
