With the rapid advancement of technology, numerous aspects of the online
gambling industry are changing. However, challenges related to responsible
gaming and the prevention of addiction remain. Traditional online casinos
often encourage irresponsible behavior, as they involve the risk of losing real
money, which increases the likelihood of addiction.
This thesis focuses on the development of an online casino that exclusively
uses virtual currency to prevent gambling addiction. The web application
allows users to play various games while tracking their winnings, losses, and
gameplay statistics. The emphasis is on responsible gaming, where players
do not risk losing real money. The thesis analyzes the impact of using virtual
currency on reducing the risk of addiction and evaluates whether such a
solution can contribute to more responsible gaming.
The main findings showed that using virtual currency allows for more
controlled and responsible gaming without the risk of real financial losses.
