The article explores the engagement of young adults (ages 15–29) with library activi-ties, focusing on the case of the Ljubljana City Library (Mestna knjižnica Ljubljana - MKL) and the Deichman Library in Oslo. It focuses on the decline in reading habits and library visits among young adults and discusses strategies to re-engage this de-mographic group. The proposed methods include adapting library spaces, organizing youth-oriented events, utilizing modern technologies and platforms like TikTok, and involving young adults in activity planning. The Deichman Library stands out with innovative approaches, such as youth councils and creative spaces, while Ljubljana City Library emphasizes reading promotion. The article concludes with suggesting the synergies between the two models to enhance young adult engagement in libraries.
