In my bachelor's thesis, I explored the process of grieving primarily through my personal experience of loss. I analysed relevant psychological literature on the topic, both old and contemporary. I then delved deeper into this topic by examining concrete examples of how both artists and laypeople alike have coped with grief. I was particularly interested in the intersection of the world of art and everyday life, seeing as mourning is one of the areas where the two have often intertwined throughout history. Lastly, I explored the concept of art therapy and created an experimental film which combines various animation techniques and live-action elements, serving as my personal form of art therapy. In the final part of my thesis, I described my filmmaking process, from the initial idea and screenplay to the final product.
