The article aims to examine uninflected and inflected clitics that can potentially occur in clitic clusters – i.e. sentence particles as well as pronominal and verbal inflected clitics – in the language of the Freising Fragments (most probably written between ca. 972 and 1039 CE), which represents the oldest attested chronolect of Slovene, from the synchronic perspective with some historical linguistic explanations. First, inflected, i.e. pronominal and verbal clitics are presented from the morphological point of view. Secondly, the position of the individual clitics and clitic cluster in the sen-tence are detected. Thirdly, the exact order of individual clitics in the clitic cluster is defined.
