The first part of this article discusses the literary, philosophical, and psychological theories of emotion in lyric poetry, proposing that all poetic processes and means should be considered as ways of representing emotion. The second part of the article provides a brief insight into the emotions presented in Uroš Zupan’s collection Psica in poletje (The Bitch and the Summer) and Maja Vidmar’s Minute prednosti (Minutes of Advantage), also analyzing ways of representing emotions.
