The final seminar paper focuses on four personifications located on the vault of the presbytery of St. Peter’s Church, positioned around the central motif – the scene of Peter healing the sick in Jerusalem. They were created between 1733 and 1734 and were later supplemented during the renovation and extension of the church following the 1895 earthquake. The paper examines various editions of the iconographic manual Iconologia, which contain descriptions and illustrations that may help explain the meaning of the personifications. While the personifications on the southern and northern sides of the presbytery are represented in the iconographic manual Iconologia, the two personifications on the extended vault are more complex.
