Cognitive tests were traditionally conducted in clinical settings and designed primarily for professional use. However, modern web technologies now make such tools accessible to a wider range of users via computers and smartphones. This approach enables simpler execution of cognitive tasks and, with the addition of gamification elements such as scoring and leaderboards, encourages independent practice while opening new possibilities for monitoring progress outside the clinical environment.
This thesis presents the development of a web application for performing simple cognitive tasks aimed at training abilities such as memory, attention, and problem-solving. The application also includes a statistics module that allows users to track their progress and compare their results with others. Modern web technologies were used in the development process, ensuring flexibility and future scalability of the system. Initial testing with a small group of users confirmed the application’s usability and reliable performance.
