The master's thesis discusses the development of a comprehensive system for
automatic programming, testing, and calibration of electronic circuits used for vessel
tracking and telemetry. The system was developed for the needs of the company
Sentinel Marine Solutions, where annual production is increasing from 1,000 to an
expected 5,000 units.
The developed system enables simultaneous testing of two circuits, which is an
entire production panel. It enables automatic software uploading, current consumption
testing, digital and analog input testing, analog-to-digital converter calibration, and
verification of GPS and GSM signal strength. A modular architecture was
implemented, allowing testing of three device versions (BM50, BM50 Lite, BM50
Pro) with minimal modifications.
The system was successfully deployed in production in February 2024 and has
completed more than 12,000 tests to date. It has achieved high reliability with no false
positive results, ensuring product quality and reducing warranty claim costs.
