The thesis project identifies the growth and development of airports and airlines in the Middle East, highlighting key indicators of success. The thesis describes and analyses four major airports (Dubai, Doha, Istanbul and Abu Dhabi) and four leading airlines (Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines and Etihad Airways), defining their development trends, technological innovations and contribution to the economic development of the region as a whole. Attention is paid to the impact of their strategic location, investments in infrastructure, technological developments and their competitiveness in global air transport. It highlights the factors that have contributed to their ambitious national vision and plan, their large financial investments and their emphasis on customer experience and sustainable development. Equalities and differences between airports and airlines are also discussed, as well as competitive advantages with airports and carriers from other parts of the world. In line with the project's aim to identify the impact of various factors on the transformation of the Middle East into a key global aviation hub and leader in commercial aviation, the conclusion highlights the importance of technological innovation, a guided development strategy and continued investment in infrastructure.
