Holistic and spiritual development of teachers is a topic that is less pre-sent in pedagogical and scientific literature. More discussed and researched is positive psychology, which has also influenced the development of positive education (PE). The aim of this empirical study was to find out how primary school teachers (PSTs) at public primary schools (PS) perceive (evaluate) that their PS supports mutual cooperation and learning, positive actions and emo-tions, and their holistic and spiritual development. A non-randomised sample of 81 PSTs from different regions of Slovenia completed the questionnaire. The results, evaluated on the basis of descriptive and inferential statistics, show that PSTs are most likely to agree that their primary school supports their po-sitive actions and emotions, their mutual learning and cooperation, and their holistic development, while they are undecided in their answers regarding their spiritual development. They also point out that the topic of spiritual deve-lopment is linked to the topic of positive attitudes and relationships and needs to be discussed and implemented more in the practice of teachers.
