For TIG welding in production, it is necessary to select an appropriate process and develop a machine that enables the cutting of welding wire. This thesis outlines the requirements that influence the design and manufacturing of the wire-cutting machine. Ease of use, machine safety, automatic operation, and adequate cutting capacity are key factors in selecting the appropriate machine concept. The thesis presents the input requirements for the development of a new machine, which must be considered during construction. A detailed design of the machine is provided, including descriptions of the functions of individual subsystems. The results of the welding wire cutting process using the machine are also presented. All safety standards were considered in the design and manufacturing of the machine.
