The master's thesis examines fiction published in the newspaper Slovenski dom, which was issued in Ljubljana between 1935 and 1945, initially as a clerical-oriented paper and later as the mouthpiece of the occupying authorities. The principal aim of the thesis was to record and analyse the published fiction using digitized material from the Digital Library of Slovenia. The first part of the analysis focuses in particular on authorship – attribution and the frequency of individual authors' contributions, as well as the ratio between original and translated fiction. The rest of the thesis focuses more on the forms and genres of literary contributions and to genre classifications. The collected data are presented clearly in graphical form.
