The European Union is working to establish common European data spaces that enable secure and efficient data sharing between organizations and individuals and promote innovation in various sectors, such as healthcare, energy, the environment, mobility, finance and public administration. The design of these spaces is based on open standards and interoperability, which is why open source solutions are key to their success.
We reviewed relevant documents and legislation, analyzed existing projects and solutions in detail, compared the implementation of individual components with actual data spaces, and finally carried out registration and implementation in LDS. This process gave us a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of data space operation.
An LDS connector was installed for a specific organization. In addition, an upgrade of the LDS component was proposed, enabling immediate use for batch loading of data collections, thereby simplifying and accelerating the data management process.
