The Municipality of Ljubljana is implementing various measures to increase the physical activity of its citizens. One of these is the Let's Exercise program. The program is implemented by fitness professionals in all urban communities. From May 2022 to August 2025, 19,831 visits have already been recorded. The purpose of the program is to educate citizens in physical exercise to strengthen muscles. During the implementation of the program, it was observed that exercise self-efficacy is important for regular weekly exercise. Therefore, we examined the effect of the program on the exercise self-efficacy of exercisers, their physical and mental health, and quality of life. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires in June 2025 from 96 exercisers, which they completed before the start and after the end of the program. Differences between self-assessments were calculated using the Wilcoxon test. We found that the self-assessment of quality of life, physical and mental health, and exercise self-efficacy of the exercisers was statistically significantly (p<0.001) higher after participation in the program than before. This confirmed that the program has a significant effect on improving the physical and mental health and quality of life of the exercisers. It also has an impact on their exercise self-efficacy, which is important for maintaining regular weekly physical exercise.
