As part of this thesis, we analysed the time series of coordinates from eight stations in the SIGNAL GNSS network in Slovenia. The time series of coordinates, which refer to daily calculations of station coordinates in the ITRS global coordinate system, are given for a period of five years, from 2019 to 2024 inclusive. The aim of the thesis was to design a mathematical model for analysing time series, where we assume that the coordinates of the stations change at a constant rate, but that changes in speed and periodic signals are also present in the time series. We developed our own software tool in MATLAB, which is based on principles of least squares adjustment. The results we obtained show a high degree of agreement between the daily coordinates of GNSS stations and the designed model, as the deviations of the daily coordinates of GNSS stations from the modelled ones are at the millimetre level for the horizontal components n and e and below one centimetre for the height.
