In my bachelor’s thesis, I focused on the imitations performed by Tilen Artač in the radio show Radio Ga Ga, with particular attention to his imitation of Robert Golob. At the beginning, I presented a thorough overview of the history of the show as well as the concepts of imitation and satire. I conducted a short survey on the listenership of satirical programs among young people. Furthermore, I analyzed three recordings of imitations from Radio Ga Ga and two recordings of the natural speech of both Tilen Artač and Robert Golob. In addition, I examined nonverbal communication present in the recordings. Using the software program Praat, I carried out an analysis of selected text-phonetic parameters, such as register, speech rate, and sentence intonation.
