The assignment addresses the spatial development of the settlement of Krkavče, which is facing demographic challenges, insufficient utility infrastructure, and dependence on coastal centers. Based on spatial analyses of the valid and municipal spatial acts, fieldwork, and survey findings, we provided a comprehensive overview of the settlement’s development challenges and opportunities. The analysis revealed discrepancies between spatial acts and the actual situation on the ground, and highlighted the limitations arising from the existing infrastructure and demographic trends. On the basis of these findings, we formulated the starting points for the preparation of proposals for spatial arrangements and development guidelines. The identified needs include the improvement of basic infrastructure, transport connections, and the strengthening of tourism potential. The proposed arrangement includes the expansion of residential areas, the renovation of public and green spaces, and encourages the development of sustainable tourism. In the final part of the assignment, we presented a proposal for the further spatial development of Krkavče, following the objectives of balanced and sustainable development, preservation of natural and cultural values, and the improvement of residents’ quality of life.
