This master's thesis presents the development of a device for cleaning high-welfare floors in barns, which improves hygiene conditions and reduces the need for manual labor. The development process followed the VDI 2221:1993 methodology, from problem definition to detailed 3D CAD modeling in the SolidWorks software environment. Throughout all development phases, we used the artificial intelligence tools ChatGPT-4o and DeepSeek-R1 as support, which contributed to the design of solutions, selection of components, and execution of calculations. Attention was given to evaluating their usability, reliability, and effectiveness in performing specific tasks. The tools proved to be useful support in accelerating development, especially in information retrieval and performing calculations. However, they showed limitations in accessing precise data from manufacturers’ websites and specific technical documentation or product links. The device is now ready for the next stages of development, including technical documentation preparation, selection of manufacturing processes, and the construction of the first prototype.
