Edvard Kardelj went down in history as one of the most important political figures of Yugoslavia. Kardelj's mentality and his theories were key to the formation of Yugoslav identity in the second half of the 20th century. His theoretical works influenced the political practice, economic structure and social organization of Yugoslavia and had a wide resonance with both the domestic and international public. Edvard Kardelj was actively involved in the creation of the political image of Yugoslavia from the beginning and until its end. Throughout the period, he created valuable works that represented important theoretical building blocks, which represented the basic elements and visions on which Yugoslavia was based. Along the way of my research, I answered several key questions that shed light on the field of politics in Yugoslavia and the influence of Edvard Kardelj through his fruitful creation and, last but not least, the implementation of this policy within the framework of socialist self-management, which, as a new phenomenon in Yugoslavia, brought fundamental changes and influenced Yugoslavian politics even decades later.
