The thesis deals with measuring abnormal operations, by simulating individual faults on the circuit at 0,9- and 1,1-times the rated voltage. The main aim of the work is to determine which voltage creates less favorable conditions for testing. The EVS EN60730-1:2016 standard was used in the implementation: Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use – Part 1: General requirements.
The first part of the thesis presents a theoretical description of the applied standard and the specific clause according to which the test was carried out. It also describes standards in general, the process of obtaining the CE marking, and the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (SIQ) as the body performing product compliance testing with the standards.
The second part of the thesis presents the practical execution of the test. It outlines the preparation procedure for measurements, the execution of the measurements, and the measuring equipment used.
For the electronics tested in the thesis, it was found that higher temperatures and higher current loads occur at reduced rated voltage. However, according to the results, the most unfavorable voltage varies depending on the component.
