The aim of the thesis was to conduct a risk analysis of manual handling of loads and other risks at the workplace of a controller. In doing so, I used Annexes 2 and 3 of the Rules on Ensuring the Safety and Health of Workers in Manual Handling of Loads. I also used the Practical Guideline for Assessing the Risk of Physical Strains Using Key Indicator Methods and the knowledge that was given to me at the faculty itself. The results of the thesis showed that the worker's strain is slightly increased when lifting, holding and moving loads and in other manual work processes. It was determined that the strain is low when pulling and pushing loads and consequently no measures are necessary. I analysed the remaining risks according to the 12th principles of ergonomics and they are negligible or have already been determined and implemented.
