Sustainable access to drinking water is one of the greatest engineering challenges in recent times. Water vapor in the atmosphere is a promising solution due to its abundance and universal availability. In this work, we present the influence of daytime-radiative materials on water vapor condensation and, consequently, water harvesting, by conducting an experiment using one reference aluminium plate and one plate with an added daytime-radiative material. We found that daytime-radiative materials have a significant effect on condensation. Water harvesting is especially effective during the night.
