The thesis presents a project for the construction of a formwork system for the Ljubljana railway station. In the first part of the thesis, the structure of the formwork itself is described in detail, with the main focus on the H20 top P timber beams. For these, the thesis specifies the structure (which is divided into webs and flanges), the properties of the larch wood (from which the webs and flanges are made, e.g. mechanical properties under certain conditions), the basics of the coatings and adhesives used, the installation methods, the load characteristics, the handling guidelines and the associated possible failures, as well as the storage and transport methods. The various plywoods from which the formwork straps are made are also described in similar detail. Some other components of the formwork are also mentioned, e.g. the WS10 top 50 steel beams. The second part of the thesis focuses on the description of the practical steps of the work process at Doka Slovenija opažna tehnologija d.o.o., discussing the necessary technical plans or technical documentation, the woodworking machines used, the steps involved in the production of the individual segments, the installation or fixing methods (a comprehensive and detailed description of the formwork structure), and the loading and transport, including the various problems and challenges that had to be addressed in order to complete the job successfully.
