The master's thesis examines change management in the context of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption at the company Klarna. The introduction of AI within an organizational setting represents a multidimensional change involving technological, cultural, and procedural shifts. Framed within the scientific discipline of change management, the thesis focuses on analysing employee responses, leadership practices, and strategic decisions during AI adoption. It is based on a thematic analysis of secondary sources, including interview transcripts with company executives, published expert articles, and case studies. The analysis reveals key challenges and approaches in leading change, such as ensuring psychological safety, developing competencies, ethical responsibility, and transparent communication. Findings indicate that successful change management in the context of AI adoption requires a comprehensive and adaptive leadership strategy that aligns technological innovation with organizational values and culture. The thesis contributes to understanding the practical application of change management theories within the scope of adoption and usage of AI in organization.
